In the past I've seen messages like that which have looked so malformed that
I had the impression they were the result of some spammer who'd written a
program to generate and post mails, but not got it right.
In Tools -> Accounts, for the account which is receiving these mails, on the
Advanced page, there's an option to 'log all communication with the server'.
If that's not already on, turn it on. Then after you've received some more
of these mails, look in the log to see if it shows incomplete mails being
fetched properly, or any other clue.
There are perhaps other possibilities; if your anti-virus software is
scanning mails as they are fetched, it's possible that it's not working
properly.
Weird emails like that are nothing to worry about, any more than any other
spam.
As to not deleting, that's presumably a bug in MP. What happens if you
select them and then 'move' them to the 'waste basket' folder?
