Messenger Pro v2.71.0 beta released

Messenger Pro v2.71.0 is now available for beta testing from the downloads
area at http://www.intellegit.com/download/

The usual disclaimers apply regarding stability of beta releases and the
need to back up any important data.

The following changes have been made in this release:

  - Updated to Qt 4.8.5 (where bundled)
  - Updated to OpenSSL 1.0.1e (where bundled)
  - Minor code changes to allow for porting to Qt 5

In addition, new packages are available for current Linux distributions.

Please note that the Mac OS X version now requires Snow Leopard (10.6) or
later and as such no longer supports the PowerPC architecture.

I'll be away between August 31st and September 16th, so the more cautious
among you may want to wait for my return before trying this out.

I'm aware that it's been almost a year since the last release, and while
this isn't a big update in itself, I'm hoping this exercise in bringing
everything up to date will serve to prepare the way for a new round of
development when I get back from holiday.
