MPro6 and "Chime for new arrivals"

I bought a copy of MPro6 at Wakefield yesterday.  Installation from CD 
was straightforward.

The immediately obvious change is new icons at the top of an open 
message window.

The unwanted change is that the "Chime for new arrivals" option has 
stopped working.  Has anyone else found this?
