New to Messenger Pro

I've been a satisfied user of Pluto for over 13 years now
(and am still using it) but have decided that I would be
better off using a mail and news client that is still being
developed.

I have MPro v.5.13 on my new laptop (from R-Comp) but
haven't quite screwed up my courage to commit to it
completely. The archive of messages on the Intellegit site
has already allayed my major concern about where to keep
NewsDir (thanks to Dave Ruck for that one).

If anyone who has made the jump from Pluto to MPro has any
advice and/experience which would save me from my own
inexperience, I'd be very grateful.
