Problem Accessing IMAP mail with MPro

I have setup MPRO to access my IMAP mailbox. I can see my mail but as 
soon as I try to create a new directory or send an email, I get the 
error message

Group Email.markee174.wastebaste could not be created (Invalid mailbox 
name).

Any suggestions?
