responding to an unfetched messsge
i have MPro (or is it Hermes) configured to fetch only headers for
items larger than a certain size.
that's because dealing with a huge attachment can tie up the RiscPC
for too many thumb-twiddling minutes when i'm in the middle of another
job. waiting to download at the moment is a 7-megabyte video attached
to an email from somebody in Canada.
on the "Unfetched messages" window:
menu ("Message list") offers to Fetch rest, Delete rest,
Delete spam, etc.
Select-click on an item shows its headers, as a textfile
Adjust-click brings up a dialogue to "Add to allowed list".
how can i REPLY to the message? i want to suggest to my correspondent
that he upload his file to webspace somewhere and email me just the
link. (i might even set up a standard reply for use in future cases.)
ideally such a reply should preserve threading. maybe download
only the headers, or headers and body of the message without the
attachments, to usual MPro inbox.
is there already a route for doing this that i don't know? or is it a
feature worth suggesting to R-Comp?
