Nice to see someone with the same problem. Andrew claims that no one 
else has the problem! It was also present on previous editions. Mine 
is M-Pro 6.05 on RISC OS 6.14

As far as I am concerned it works ok on my PC with Outlook 2010, OK 
meaning it just about works, but occasional puts up errors and is 
liable to freeze on startup.

It will not work with either Thunderbird, or M-Pro for Windows. In the 
later two cases the subscription window does not populate, and hence 
you cannot select anything. So it would appear to be exactly the same 
as your experience on Linux.
