I assume this is the same cross post , with no reference to you doing 
so that is on the Armini list.


As per the Armini list reply

"I assume you are renaming the old NewsDir and copying over the backup 
and not just copying the backup over the existing NewsDir?

Also no mention of what version of MessengerPro your using and also 
have you tried copying a new version of MessengerPro?

When does it go wrong is it when you load MessengerPro or when you try 
to collect some emails?

All relevant questions to narrow down the issue."
