Address book oddities

I'm using MPro 7.06 from Mar 2013. I realise that the answer to this 
query may be to buy an upgrade to the most recent version.

I have a few distribution lists that I use infrequently.  I wanted to 
update one.  I have discovered that there are two options with 
overlapping functions in the menu on the Distribution lists button of 
the Address book window: Modify and Edit/View

Modify will remove / add names to a list so long as I type/paste the 
address into a box.  There is no way to access the address book from 
that window.

Edit/View opens up a text file I can edit manually.  Again I can't 
access the address book directly.

Editing an entry in the address book allows me to click on a 
Distribution list selection icon.  This turns that name into a 
Distribution list; it does not add a name to an existing list.

Is there an update planned which will simplify the process of adding 
names already in my address book to a distribution list?
