Sorry no help here, I raised this issue with Andrew a very long time ago, 
and he could not offer any suggestions. He did suggest using the windows 
version of Messenger. However I have never managed to make that work in 
the IMAP mode and connect with Risc Os and the update server appears to 
have changed, so I have not been able to update the windows version to see 
if that helps.
