There should be a backup of fetched emails which you can drop in to (IIRC)
MsgServe.Queue.Local.

The backups should be somewhere similar to:

  HostFS::Harddisk4.$.!boot.Resources.!NewsDir.MsgServe.Backup.Mail

...where Mail contains a dir' for each user.

You should make a copy of the file to preserve the backup. You could then
edit this copy to break it up into smaller files, which may help with the
memory problem.
