I've just replaced MP 2.66.6.3353 by MP 2.68.3.3620 on Windows XP, and
noticed a similar effect.  

I compared the contents of the 'Config' file as it was in the last backup of
the app data before the upgrade, and as it was when the new app had been
run, and none of the font definitions in those files had changed.
