Unless I've misunderstood, what you're actually seeing here is a bug in
2.66.6 (and indeed all versions of MPro/Gemini before that) whereby the
icons are too big for each line of the item view so extra space is being
added to accomoodate them.  In 2.68.3, the icons are scaled to the correct
size, so the result is a more compact view which should be more consistent
with other apps.
