Doh! I've just tried that and it works (except I have windows classic with
the blue bar at the top). It also works now just dragging to the edit window
which it didn't before.
My desktop had filled with files I'd copied there so I could find them
easier to attach via the paperclip or insert command from an easy to find
location. I /must/ delete some.
I'm sure it didn't work before today, and just before I originally posted.
The only change I've made is to unnstall a program called browser
configuration utility.
Either that or I'm going senile.
