Another option might be to use the "add header" filter option, if you can
set filter criteria specifically enough.  Except, it might not work... I've
experimented successfully with adding headers to incoming news posts to show
which filter actions have been successfully matched, but the same sort of
thing doesn't work for incoming mail (bug 249).
