And to answer Ken's query.  That was my first thought but unfortunately,
examining all folders did not reveal the missing Archive folder :-(

A few minutes ago I renamed .gemini to .geminiOLD and copied over a backup
from 2014-01-04.  When I launched the application the Archive folders were
shown.
