Yes, I had already done that but it wasn't very helpful. The problem has
just occurred for a third time, and the log shows, starting at 18.22 and
continuing every 2 minutes until I ran OE again at 22.02, a long series of
not very useful pairs of lines:
Oct 21 22:01:55 Connecting to pop3.feathermail.co.uk...
Oct 21 22:01:55 Account 'AWFM' closed connection unexpectedly
punctuated very occasionally by this one:
Oct 21 21:43:46 Connecting to pop3.feathermail.co.uk...
Oct 21 21:44:07 Unable to connect to account 'AWFM': Connection refused
At 22.02 I ran OE which immediately fetched all the waiting mail, then I ran
Gemini again to collect the same mail and it was fine:
Oct 21 22:02:52 Connecting to pop3.feathermail.co.uk...
Oct 21 22:02:53 Connected
Oct 21 22:02:53 <<<< +OK Hello there.
<4316.1413925339@...>
Oct 21 22:02:53 Logging in to mailbox alanwrigley@...
and so on until all the mail was fetched.
Alan
