All messages go into the Outbox until they are actually sent to the
internet. Once they are successfully posted the message is transferred to
the Sent folder.

If for any reason (incorrect email address, bad connection to server etc.)
the message fails to depart it will stay in the Outbox.

You can easily see if there is a problem but looking of the main Messenger
window frame. Here you will see a light bulb with the word "Online" next to
it. If there is a problem you will also see a red exclamation mark!

Double click on the bulb, word or mark and a separate error logging window
will appear. Clicking on "Show errors" brings up another window with more
details which may help you to solve the problem. It's also possible to turn
on fuller logging for the account in use and that should certainly help
others to solve the problem for you if you can't spot it yourself.
