Can't see that it's an obvious memory problem, however.
Free space on SSD, which is where NewsDir lives:
Free 88 Gbytes
Used 1295 MBytes
Size 89 Gbytes
Copied from the "Free" menu item.
I virtually always do "View mail on server" in Hermes before
downloading mail, and haven't been aware of any messages going missing
after downloading.
Also, I've successfully debatched e-mails of up to 10 megabytes (why
do people send these things, so memory isn't lacking for these, it
would seem!
All very odd, and I'll probably have to ask Andrew, I think.
