Not surprised, since the directories are named numerically and not
according to the folder name. They are in <NewsDir$Dir>.MsgServe.Spool

<NewsDir$Dir>.Groups tells you whihc directory belongs to which group
- this is the last field on the line, wigh prefix G, G1 being
Spool.0.0.1 and you can have 77 subdirectories (named 0 to 76) in each
directory (for pre-RISC OS 4 compatibility).

Within each bottom level directory the Group file will echo the name
of the group. It's plain text although typed as data.

If you wish to check your groups for consistency with the Groups file
download http://www.richardporter.me.uk/riscos/gcheck.zip and read the
ReadMe file.

I don't want a "user experience" - I just want stuff that works.
