I'm now also seeing delays, but they seem to differ from yours.

The delays occur _every_ time mail is recieved. Hermes' status window
shows that mail has been downloaded, and the window closes, as expected.
Then, up to a minute passes before the MsgServe status window opens, and
debatching commences. The machine remains usable throughout, but the
delay is annoying.

!Newsdir.MsgServe.Config contains the line DebatchTime=60 . Could that
be relevant?

News debatching is not affected, and proceeds as soon as the data has
been downloaded.

Using RPCEmu 0810 / RO 520 / MPro 706 / Hermes 262.
