Thanks to Richard, David and Steve for the replies. I've looked at the
header, which is full of gobbledygook such as:
s=s1024; d=yahoo.co.uk;
h=X-YMail-OSG:Received:X-Rocket-MIMEInfo:X-Mailer:Message-ID:Date:Fr
om:Reply-To:Subject:To:MIME-Version:Content-Type;
b=24U4o6eiR2mNfUkYW5ajoZUSiZlAlKs/c0yNt6R/NuzeM9PbacjuloqoKYrnVbNzNe
R87VZ8JWEl8VpzjfBOX/szlrOfGJBFpFN4bZUroVJDoMItLQGTnJj4K5FfhRfp3WLvt0ph2VgnoRK5sr
QV586zswhadZrPYKWhW3NzkFI=;
but the relevant lines seem to be:
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
immediately before the actual message.
At any rate, I'm happy that it's the sender's problem, not mine!
With best wishes,
Peter.
