Messenger Pro 6.05 / 7.06a Problem

Hello,
i got the following problem with Messenger:

I installed Messenger V6.05 from scratch
After the following error i installed Messenger 7.06a from scratch.
Still the same Problem:


When trying to send mail, the following
error came up from Messenger:

_*Group Email.erich2.outgoing.mail could not be created *_
_*( Client tried to access nonexistent namespace ) *_

im using Messenger on an imap-account.
Here in switzerland port 25 is locked. so smtp has to use port 587.
But i couldn't configure the smtp port on Messenger.
Could this be the case for this error?


Any ideas, what i'm doing wrong?
