If sending to a PC, it uses the file extension in the message, and 
nothing else. Window's expects everything else to play to its tune.

Messenger shows the RISC OS name. To see what the other end will see, 
open the raw copy of the sent message, and look for the filename at the 
beginning of the MIME section header for the attachment.
