mystery "you are editing" message

From:Jim Nagel Date:3 Jul 2015 17:42

Frequently, but not always, I get a warning from MPro when I try to
log in after my wife has finished one of her email sessions:

        Message from Messenger
You are currently editing one or more messages. Please
confirm that you wish to log out and abandon these edits.
        Cancel / Log out

I check with a "what windows are open?" utility -- has she iconized
something or dragged it off-screen? The list of windows shows nothing
involving Email Edit and nothing else relevant. So I go ahead and
click "Log out". So far have never had a complaint from her that any
of her work has been lost.

What could be causing this message from Messenger? It might be
irrelevant, but she is a bit of a technophobe touch-typist and admits
that she has "flying fingers" -- sometimes hits unintended keys
(Ctrl-A as a prime example) -- but I haven't fathomed what flying
finger might trigger this mystery.

It never happens the other way around -- ie, when she logs in after
one of my email sessions. We are the only two users. (Iyonix 5.18
with MPro 7.06; I think it happened on previous MPro versions too.)
