Are you using RISC OS 5 with UTF8 as a characterset?

Everything has to understand both UTF8 and the OS has t be set to UTF8, 
otherwise things wont shown consistently when copying from one app to 
another.

Most RISC OS applications don't explicitly understand UTF8, so may show 
things incorrectly themselves, but pass the data to an app which does 
know UTF8 which will then display it correctly.
