Agreed, though NetFetch does open the NewsHound configuration 
directory via its own dialogue. My NewsHound Config.dunGroup file has

     # News server hostname:
     news.eternal-september.org:8119,[username],[password]

which is clearly enough for retrieving news group posts. There is no 
further data for outgoing posts, so what part of the configuration is 
incorrect, do you think?
