I don't think you can and it would be tricky do do because you can
search more than one group at the same time. It would be much better
if MPro could take its columns from the group (or the first group)
being searched. I guess most of the time we only seach one group at a
time and we would be very unlikely to search an incoming and an
outgoing group in one operation.
At the very least, the default layout for searching an outgoing group
would be to include the To field and not the Sender field.
There's another problem that's very similar. You can specify the send
settings for a group (from, signature, etc.) and these are used if you
send a new message or reply directly to an incoming message. However
if you reply to an embedded message (attached to another message) MPro
reverts to its default settings. This is a particular problem if you
use mailing lists where messages are wrapped to overcome AOL's DMARC
policies.
