Thanks Druck.
DejaVu is, as far as I know, the most modern font I can find. It was
distributed via R-Comp's web site alongside Messenger Pro. There is a
readme file in the MPro 7.08 distribution zip file saying "These fonts
are designed to be used with the RISC OS 5 UniCode font manager....
[DejaVu] will ensure a smooth, modern look... for unicode-aware user
interface elements".
I have also tried those which I think are built in with RISC OS 5 (not
sure how to tell for sure). However I can find no font that works.
I am going to attempt to make another posting to this list which I
will hack up to be an HTML only email. Hopefully when people view it,
some will see either missing characters or black diamonds i.e. my
problem. If anyone sees correct accented characters instead, it would
be great if they could let me know what font Messenger Pro is using to
display it.
