Surely there's no need for a To/BCC at all?  The Newsgroups: header
tells your news client where to send the post to.

The error message about a domain is probably caused by the BCC:
(which is an email-related header)'s contents which look like an
email address with only a lefthand portion, ie missing the @domain
part.
