Hi John
Nice to hear your 'voice' again. Are you well?

I think that's what I did a while ago, when I set it up, so I can't think
what the problem might be.
One thought. Are there different kinds of folders? What I mean is that in
the Group Management I thought I'd seen some folder of the form MyBestEmails,
and others as paul/MyFavouriteEmails, i.e. some with the 'paul/' prefix,
and others not. But at the moment, ALL my folders are either newlists (with
no prefix) or paul/SomethingOrOther. And the list I want to be a newsgroup
is paul/EAC.
So maybe the folder ought to be, say, just EAC, and not paul/EAC, if it is
to be convertible to a newsgroup?
Best wishes,
Paul
