I'm seeing the same problem and my current theory is that the plugin that
draws the icons isn't loading. It works fine when I run a dev version
compiled from source, which suggests that there's no major incompatibility
issue here, but rather that the packaged MPro app is coming up against
something that's changed in Lion, possibly due to the way the Qt libraries
and plugins are distributed.

I need to try out a few things which will take a little time, but I'm aiming
to get a fix out over the weekend.

After that there will be some minor issues remaining (mainly small cosmetic
glitches I think) until official Lion support is added to Qt in v4.8.0.
