HTML mail which doesn't specify a font no longer looks close to plain text.
It's now using the desktop font. THAT IS *WRONG*.
I'd much rather have it rendered as close to plain text as possible. That I
can tolerate, and even then barely; for anything else, I switch to source
view, press ‘f’ then read the text that way. Because of this change, almost
all HTML mail which I receive I have to read in that way.
I'm currently thinking of reverting to 2.69.x, but I'd much rather have an
‘always show as plain text’ option, and I don't care that that may ‘display
the text in a way other than intended’.
The only other option is to start rejecting HTML-only mail, which I may start
doing anyway for certain persistent offenders.
Also, for some reason, ISO8859-7 is often presented as an appropriate
character set. UTF-8 is a better choice.
