If you're upgrading from 2.69.5 then there was only one change and that
wouldn't have had any effect on the message display.  There's stuff in the
earlier 2.69.x releases which may potentially be responsible, as might Qt be
if you've upgraded that recently.  Can you confirm which was the last
version of MPro that didn't have this problem?

For this it asks Qt for a character set that can represent all the
characters in the message.  Although ISO-8859-7 can (I hope!) represent them
all in each case, I'd agree that UTF-8 would usually be a more sensible
choice.
