Dependency error...

I am thinking of changing from LinuxMint v13.0 on which MessengerPro works
perfectly, to SolydX 2014.05. which is based on Debian Testing.  Tried to
install version 2.41.2.3882 Wheezy.deb of MessengerPro but got an error
message:

Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: libffi6

The repositories have libffi6 installed.

Would installing libffi5 solve the problem or would that installation
overwrite libffi6, which may may break applications relying on libffi6?

Any suggestions as to how I may overcome this problem and successfully get
MessengerPro working with SolydX.2014.05 will be gratefully received.

This is a "deal breaker" for me, as there is no way I will change my email
client.
