Handling Newsgroups

Re: Handling Newsgroups ("David J. Ruck")

Hi all,

I've been looking at moving to Mro for a few months now. I have purchased
a copy and keep going back for a tinker and becoming frustrated and giving
up.

It's all about what you're used to and although there are some email
issues with Pluto it does take some living up to in many respects.

The last thing that bugged me before Christmas is how Mpro displays or
lists Newsgroups or for the pedantic usenet. Have I got this right? Is it
the case that Mpro should have all newsgroups in the front window so to
speak. By that I mean, it isn't intended that I create a folder called
RISC OS and send all the c.s.a.* newsgroups to that folder and all my
groups about other interests to other folders?

Must admit, I'm considering leaving usenet with Pluto and only using Mpro
for email if that is the case.

Bob.
