The more I think about it the more I like the idea actually. I could
make a copy of all incoming mail and send it to both applications.

Yes, I'm sure it is straightforward once I have my head around it, the
question is, will I like it.

Ah, now that's sounds interesting.

So, if you're reading newsgroups using the news user and an urgent email
arrives for the main user, does it notify you in some way or is the main
user ignored under those circumstances?
