Messenger is BEEPing every 30 seconds!

Dear colleagues,
I drafted a message this morning around 9:00 a.m. and attempted to 
send it.  Transport command failed - No sender specified in Control 
file (1).

By dint of checking the Sent Mail file, and using the Header button to 
insert my details manually in the Sender field, I believe I have 
actually SENT the message off successfully.

But HOW do I silence the BEEP, which is continuing at half-minute 
intervals.  Presumably one copy of the message is stuck in some queue 
or other and needs deleting...?
