The Message ID is created from what you have in Messenger>Choices>Site 
details>Host name, so you may well have an "@" in there which means 
when Messenger adds its bit, also including the "@", you get a 
malformed Message ID which presumably some news servers reject.

Just change the field to yourdamain.demon.co.uk and all should be 
well.
