As Richard P said, best to ask Andrew.

Meanwhile, if you have either a recent enough version of RISC OS that 
supports copy-and-paste everywhere or !IcnClpBrd you can:
open the distribution list for editing
go into the address book
select the person you want to add
click Edit
copy the email address to the clip board
and paste it into the list.

That's what I do.
