Ah gotcha sorry. Can't find a setting for that and it's not in the manual 
anywhere I can see.

However if you don't mind tinkering...

Look in MsgrConfig. Here, it is in :

!Newsdir.UserHome.john.messenger

Quite a long way down is 'LineSpacing=130'
(just under the line 'Don'tReID=No')

I altered this to 200 for testing purposes and resaved the file with no 
apparent ill effect. But 200 may be too much. Guess you can just 
experiment till you find an optimum setting

Note if you alter this whilst running MPro. You'll have to quit
and re-start MPro to actually see the cahnge
