Found it (by finding the forum and then doing an internal search:

Switching to port 119 sounds like a temporary solution which will at
least have some hopes of notifying me when the issue is fixed!
Otherwise I should think it's likely to have a pretty heavy effect on
the comp.sys.acorn.* groups....


Edit: yes, port 119 will allow download.
