I stand corrected about the current Stable release of Debian.  Must have
had a very senior moment.

Delighted to tell you that the latest version for Stretch
(2.73.5.4234-stretch_amd64.deb) works perfectly on Sparky Linux v5.0 Mate.

You've made a geriatric Linux user very happy!
