MessengerPro on Linux...

I have used various distributions of Linux with MessengerPro (Gemini) and
currently my o.s. of choice is LinuxMint v18.1 with the Mate D.E.

Getting to old age, I want to be a little more venturous and give another
distribution a try: one that doesn't appear in the download Messengpro
list for Linux.

So, my question is.  Has anyone used any other Linux with MessengerPro. 
If so, how difficult is it?  At a guess I assume one needs Mark's
permission to download the source.
