Missing Base64 Header Info - M-Pro 8

Has anyone else noticed an issue with M-Pro 8 on RISC OS forgetting to put
the
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
field into some email attachments?
I occasionally get emailed O-Pro files from another RISC OS user, and until
a couple of months ago, they saved and opened fine (using Thunderbird to an
NFS disc, which was then accessed via Sunfish on a RISC OS machine).
However, in the past couple of months, this line seems to be missing --
despite the content still being Base64 encoded. The files then need to be
manually decoded before they can be used.
Unfortunately, both the good and bad emails have
User-Agent: Messenger-Pro/8.01 (MsgServe/8.01) (RISC-OS/5.27)
in the headers (and, in the most recent, Messenger-Pro/8.02), so I'm not
entirely sure what might be triggering the behaviour.
