Are you sure about that? In my experience, port 465 is still in common usage
as "fully encrpted" (STMP using SSL), to differentiate it from
"opportunistic encryption" on port 587 (using STARTTLS).
I don't know what versions of secure SMTP M-Pro IMAP supports, but it's
important to realise that the different ports will have different
expectations as to what they will receive from the client. If port 465 is
expecting SSL connections, then it's no use trying to use it with STARTTLS;
likewise port 587 and SSL.
