Are you sure that 2.69.1 and earlier doesn't suffer from this problem or
have you only tried 2.69.2 and later?

Can you be more specific?  Your message was sent using 2.69.2 which wouldn't
have been possible if just a click in the window was enough to trigger the
problem.  Were you viewing a specific message or group when this happened?
Can you reproduce it now?

Did you need to click in the window to trigger the problem after the restart
or was it immediately unresponsive after starting up?

Sorry for all the questions but I'm trying to figure out what might have
caused this.
