First, my apologies for replying to an older, unrelated, email when I wrote my first message.
And top-posting!

Secondly, my immediate question is, can I use alt-break to kill Hermes and then delete some file or directory in !Newsbase to make it start again, and only download messages from now on, rather than download any old ones.

It seems I can't do much using the options menu, certainly not delete or fix my inbox, other than delete the whole account in Messenger.

Hope someone can help.
